Computer literacy, including the ability to use computers and maintain a basic understanding of how they operate, is an important ability in the modern workplace environment. Employees who have computer literacy have the ability to use computers and related technology efficiently, and are comfortable using computers and applications to perform workplace functions.

This Computer literacy (PC) test allows you to identify candidates who possess a basic ability to use computers for a variety of workplace tasks, and to use them safely and efficiently in real-life, workplace contexts. To answer the questions in the test successfully, candidates must understand the basics of computer operations, Internet navigation, e-mail, and file & folder handling using a Windows (PC) operating system.

The test requires candidates to identify the right answers to the questions in a limited amount of time. Successful candidates can understand and interpret basic computer menus and settings options quickly and accurately, access and navigate the Internet safely and efficiently, use email effectively, manage their disk space, and select the appropriate applications to use for a variety of basic workplace tasks.

Candidates are not only evaluated on fundamental concepts, but are also tested on common features and safe usage practices. This is a great test to include in evaluating candidates' basic technical skills and computer use.
